Technologies using Radioisotopes

Radioisotopes play an important role in diagnosis and therapy and well as in preclinical evalution of biomolecules. Through our fruitful cooperation with our partner companies, the isotope specialist Eckert & Ziegler AG and EPO GmbH we are able to offer a nearly complete range of in vitro and in vivo technologies for the characterization of biomolecules and chemical molecules using radioisotopes. These technologies include for example the labelling and analysis of molecules with various isotopes, the in vitro analysis of the biochemical and functional properties of the molecules in biochemical and cellular assays, and in vivo studies including pharmacokinetics, biodistribution and therapeutic potential in animal models.
