The Glycotope Group consists of Glycotope GmbH, based in Berlin, Germany and its 100% subsidiary, Glycotope Biotechnology, based in Heidelberg, Germany. With more than 160 employees, Glycotope represents one of the largest Biotech companies in Germany.
Together, the companies are active in the development of proprietary biopharmaceuticals based on Glycotope´s GlycoExpress technology for the improvement of protein therapeutics.
Simultaneously, we perform a wide range of contract research and manufacturing services . While Glycotope Biotechnology is for now more than 30 years a reknown partner of the pharmaceutical industry for GMP production and analytics of biologics, Glycotope is conducting extensive customer projects in drug development, most notably development of Biosimilars and improved 2nd generation therapeutics, similar to its own pipeline.
